John R MacLennan CPCU RPLU

John is a 1960 graduate of Indiana University earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business with a major in insurance.  He joined his father Kenneth MacLennan and Ross Bain in 1960 following graduation.  He has received both the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter and Registered Professional Liability Underwriter designations.  John has remained active throughout his career in community activities most notably Indiana University Northwest.  His specialization is professional liability insurance for physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers.

William K Lindburg CPCU

Bill is a 1972 graduate of Knox College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies.  He began his insurance career in 1973 and joined our agency in 1981.  He has received the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter professional designation.  Bill is active in the community and serves on the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Indiana board of directors.  He focuses on business insurance specializing in schools, contractors and lawyer’s professional liability.

Ross W MacLennan CPCU

Ross is a 1985 graduate of Indiana University earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business with a major in insurance.  He joined his father and grandfather in 1986 following graduation and an insurance company internship.  He has received the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter professional designation.  Ross is a member of the Valparaiso Rotary Club and serves on the Visiting Nurse Association of Porter County board of directors.  He focuses on commercial insurance and employee benefits; in addition he is the agency managing partner.

Tammy M Javor

Tammy is a 1999 graduate of Purdue North Central earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in education.  She joined MacLennan & Bain Insurance in 1999 working in our accounting department and assisting with professional liability service.  She now serves as manager of our professional liability department handling the insurance needs of physicians and other healthcare providers.  Tammy recently earned her Indiana agents license and became a principal of the firm.

Jill E MacLennan

Jill is a 1990 graduate of Northwood University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management.  She began her insurance career at MacLennan & Bain Insurance in 1990 specializing in personal insurance and now focuses on professional liability for healthcare providers.  Jill is a licensed Indiana insurance agent.

Shawn J Dickt

Shawn is a 2008 graduate of Valparaiso University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  He interned with the agency during his junior and senior years at VU and joined us full time following graduation.  He is currently working on his Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter designation and is a licensed Indiana agent.  Shawn recently became a principal of the firm.  His focus is on marketing of commercial insurance and management of our automation systems.  Shawn is active with the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce.

Michelle R Albert

Michelle is a Valparaiso native whose insurance career began in 1984 as a representative of an employee benefits company.  She has worked extensively in employee benefits and human resource management.  Michelle joined the agency in 2006 to specialize in commercial insurance and employee benefits.  She is a licensed Indiana agent and recently became a principal of the firm.  Michelle is active with the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce and Opportunity Enterprises.

Vickie S Porter CIC

Vickie began her insurance career in 1993 and joined our agency in 2005 as a commercial insurance account representative.  She is a licensed Indiana insurance agent and recently completed the requirements of the Certified Insurance Counselor professional designation.

Jody L Anderson

Jody began her insurance career in 2000 working for an agency in Chicago.  She joined our agency in 2006 as a personal insurance representative and is now the manager of our personal lines department.  She is a licensed Indiana insurance agent and recently became a principal of the firm.

Karen K Patek

Karen began her insurance career in 1985 and joined our agency as a personal insurance representative in 2000.  She is a licensed Indiana insurance agent.
